Welcome to the Global Leadership Institutes. GLI grew out of the studies of the international Institute For Global Leadership (www.global-leadership.com) which was founded in 2002. The mission of IIGL is to educate a new generation of ‘servant leaders’ toward becoming high-integrity, heart-centered and conscious leaders in their communities and the world.
As we look around the world today, we see so many countries dominated by authoritarian leaders who are more interested power, ego and utilizing their positions for self-enrichment than serving the people. This has largely been the history of mankind and as we can see, it most often led to wars, poverty and profound suffering – especially for the common person whose main desire is simply to live in peace, security and prosperity. We believe that such a dream as this is possible and we believe that the time is now. There is a new generation of young leaders emerging all across the planet who are committed to changing the world in a positive manner.. But they need the resources to prepare them to step into the role of servant leaders in their communities and the world. A passion for service is foundational but to become authentic leaders the house of skills and techniques must be built upon a foundation of personal empowerment; in other words, to become ‘conscious.’ This is what makes the International Institute For Global Leadership different that most leadership programs. It offers a curriculum in consciousness with books that help students wrestle with the fundamentals of life and discover their true potential for Greatness. The ultimate goal is to assist students in becoming consciously aware, high-integrity and heart-centered leaders in their communities and the world.
Our Aim:
The purpose of the Global Leadership Institutes is to extend the work of IIGL in particular countries by enrolling new students with the ultimate goal of establishing independent national leadership institutes. This is a new endeavor, created in 2025 and we begin with the Kenyan Leadership Institute as our first national institute and a model for ones we plan to establish as we go forward.
